Come and join Barnstaple Concert Training Band!
Tuesdays from 6.30-7.30pm at Newport Methodist Church.
If you can play a few notes on a woodwind or brass instrument come and have a go at playing along with others in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Training provided and some instruments available. All ages welcome.
Barnstaple Concert Band are currently looking for various players. The standard required is ideally ABRSM grade 5 (or equivalent) or above.
The band rehearses on Tuesdays from 7.45-9.30pm at Newport Methodist Church.

Host a concert?
The Band is always looking for new venues in which to play, so that we can share our love of music with a wider audience. If you’re part of a local church, community centre or town/village hall, this could be a fantastic fundraising opportunity for you.

Our concerts usually consist of 2 halves - each lasting around 45 minutes - with a short interval, during which we would ask you to provide refreshments. A retiring collection would be then taken at the end of the concert. In return for providing an evening of live music, all we ask is that the proceeds from the collection, as well as any profits from the sale of refreshments or any raffle/other fundraising activity that you choose to run alongside the concert, be split 50:50 between the Band and your chosen cause.
